ARCHE malts have a mildly sweet, slightly nutty caramel flavour and are ideal sweeteners for cooking and baking and add an intriguing, delightful new quality to all sorts of foods.
ARCHE rice malt is made using a gentle traditional method, in which brown rice is malted with sprouted barley. Barley is added, as rice does not have any starch-splittung enzymes. Barley enzymes break down the complex carbohydrates, creating a natural sweetness, The same process that takes place without any additives when pure barley malt is made.
