With the especially fine and tasteless arrowroot starch you can make fine sauces and soups, crèmes, puddings and sweet or savoury pastries. An ideal replacement for eggs.

ARCHE Arrowroot is extracted on the Carribean island of St. Vincent by rinsing the starch out of the roots of the tropical arrowroot plant, then drying it.
You can make especially fine breads, cakes or sponges if xou replace part of the flour with arrowroot.
For binding 250 ml liquid, dissolve 1 - 2 tsp. of arrowroot in a little cold water. Stir the dissolved aroowroot into the liquid and boil briefly.
To replace eggs when you're baking, use 3 tbsp. arrowroot mixed with 1 tbsp. water to replace 1 egg.
