Guar gum is a purely vegetable thickening agent extracted from guar beans.
Ideal for desserts, cold soups, dips and warm foods such as soups, sauces, egg-free casseroles and vegetable dishes, and makes gluten-free bread lighter.
Works both with and without heating.

1/2 level Tsp. guar gum is sufficient for 150 ml sauce, cold dips or dressings and for 200 ml soup or cold soup.
Sift guar gum powder with a fine sieve. When using in warm foods, allow to boil briefly. For cold foods allow to steep for several minutes.
